Scenes of Desolation and of Hope

As I made these works during the pandemic, I was struck again and again by the contrast between those, like me, who had enough — resources, company, housing — to weather the times relatively well and those who were isolated and in despair. At the same time, climate change and the desolation of those most affected was also on my mind. These installations bring the two together.
